U-10 Water Quality Checker |
The
Horiba U-10 water quality checker brings laboratory
accuracy and the ease of push-button operation
to water quality measurement in the field. The
U-10 is ideal for checking water quality in such
applications as factory effluent, urban drainage,
river water, lake and marsh water, aquatic culture
tanks, agricultural water supplies and seawater.
The instrument measures six parameters: pH, temperature,
dissolved oxygen, electrolytic conductivity, turbidity
and salinity. An automatic salinity correction
factor allows the U-10 to measure DO in either
fresh or salt water. A flow-through cell is an
optional rental item and enables in-situ measurement
from monitoring wells.
FEATURES
One Touch Calibration Just submerge the
probe into the calibration beaker filled with
standard solution and press the button for simultaneous
one-point calibration. The system also enables
two-point calibration where high precision measurement
data is required
Data Storage Unit can store the analysis
results of six
parameters for up to 20 samples and can be later
recalled,
displayed, and simultaneously printed on any
standard
printer.
Automated Salinity Compensation allows
for accurate. DO measurements in fresh or salt
water.
Data Backup Function keeps sensor calibration
values and stored data safe even if batteries
run down.

991301 Multiparameter Meter |
These
new waterproof instruments offer pH, conductivity,
TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) and temperature readings
in one easy to use meter. HI 991300 measures low
range conductivity and TDS, while HI 991301 measures
high range. Both instruments provide full scale
pH readings and allow the user to select the temperature
readout in Centigrade or Fahrenheit.
Other
features include automatic calibration, automatic
temperature compensation, selectable EC/TDS
conversion factor, adjustable conductivity temperature
coefficient, stability indicator, Battery Error
Prevention System and battery strength percentage
guage. All functions are accomplished with only
two buttons. When the instrument is turned on,
% battery power remaining is displayed preventing
unexpected battery failures in the field. Calibration
is quick and simple at one or two points and
the user can select between the instruments
memorized NIST or standard pH buffers. Conductivity
and TDS calibration is also automatic with five
programmed values to choose from. Depending
on the application, the user can select the
conversion factor between conductivity and TDS,
as well as the temperature coefficient factor.
All calibration and user settings are saved
even during battery replacement. The HI 1288
multiparameter probe compliments the meters
outstanding features: the pH sensor utilizes
gel electrolyte and a cloth junction for longer
life, faster response and greater durability.
The conductivity/TDS sensor is composed of graphite.
This new technology eliminates oxidation and
polarization errors which are the main causes
for erroneous readings and frequent calibration.
For added protection, the probe is housed in
a rugged plastic sheath with reinforced rubber
cable and steel DIN connector.
FEATURES
4 instruments in one - pH, conductivity, TDS
and
temperature all in one meter with a single probe.
Waterproof - HI 991300 and HI 991301 are housed
in a
compact waterproof, IP67 rated case.
Tailor made for your application - Customize
pH/EC calibration, select EC/TDS conversion
factor and
temperature coefficient and choose the temperature
scale
that best fits your application.
Ease of use, accuracy and durability - Two button
operation, microprocessor based, rugged instrument
and
probe construction.

9025 pH and ORP Meter |
HI
9024 & HI 9025 are microprocessor-based pH
meters in waterproof casings. HI 9024 measures
pH and °C, and HI 9025 can also measure ion
concentration and ORP in the mV range. Both meters
are housed in rugged, waterproof, ABS casings
that are built to last. The Auto-Instruction feature
guides the user step-by-step through the calibration
process with graphic symbols. Unlike conventional
microprocessor pH meters that offer only the standard
pH buffer solutions of 4.01, 7.01 and 10.01 for
calibration, these meters also allow calibration
at the important NBS (NIST) buffers of 6.86 and
9.18. Because the electrode requires a certain
amount of time to stabilize between buffers, the
meter will display the READY symbol only when
the electrode has stabilized. The powerful software
of the HI9024/HI9025 will allow 1 or 2 point calibration
using any of the 5 memorized buffers. This is
an important feature in field measurements, since
if you end up with access to only one pH buffer,
you can always perform the calibration in at least
one point. Both meters also feature a user-selectable
automatic shut-off to save battery life. HI 9024/HI
9025 are supplied complete in a rugged carrying
case containing an HI 1230B plastic, double-junction,
combination, gel, pH electrode, an HI 7669/2W
temperature probe, 4 x 1.5V AA batteries, and
pH 4 & 7 buffers.
FEATURES
Rugged, Waterproof Construction. - The ABS housing
provides the instrument with ultimate protection
from harmful environments.
Dual Level Display with Graphic Symbols. - A
dual
level LCD displays pH or mV and temperature
at the same time. Graphic symbols guide the
user through the calibration process.
READY Function. - The meter will only allow
calibration
when the electrode has stabilized.

9142 Dissolved Oxygen Meter |
The
ever increasing demand for instant results for
on-site analyses has created a constant need for
waterproof portable meters. The cold, rain, snow
and dust associated with use in the field, may
damage a meter, rapidly deteriorating its performance
and life. HI 9142 is a rugged, water resistant
meter that solves the common problems of field
use. It is very simple to use: calibration is
performed with HI 7040 zero oxygen solution while
100% calibration is done in air. There is no need
to use chemical solutions or go through time consuming
calibration processes. The polarographic probe
(HI 76407/4) will take measurements accurate to
0.2 ppm O2/liter in less than 1 minute and is
equipped with a 13' (4m) cable that allows measurements
to be taken in even hard to reach places. For
applications that require a longer probe cable,
the HI 76407/10 probe with a 32.8 foot (10 meter)
cable is available. The conic shape of the probe
allows it to be used in all BOD5 measurements
making it a truly versatile instrument. HI 9142
is supplied complete with an HI 76407/4 D.O. probe,
2 spare membranes, HI 7041S electrolyte solution,
4 x 1.5V AA batteries and instruction manual in
a rugged carrying case.
FEATURES
Water Resistant Casing The rugged construction
is water resistant, making it indispensable
in the biological water treatment industry.
One Point Calibration With the probe in saturated
air, the meter can be calibrated without the
need for chemical
solutions.
ATC Circuitry The meter's built-in Automatic
Temperature Compensation circuitry will adjust
all readings to provide the utmost accuracy.
Low Battery Indicator The low battery indicator
gives the user advanced notice to avoid taking
an erroneous reading due to low power.

910 PCT Digital Tester |
The
digital Tester is a fully portable conductivity
temperature and pH tester. Powered by a 9-volt
alkaline battery, the hand-held tester can be
used either in the laborartoy or in the field.
Conductance
and temperature are measured in the tester's
uniquely designed integral cup. The conductivity
multiple ranges selectors switch improves the
resolution of the readings. The pH measurement
is obtained from the external electrode which
is easily calibrated with the optionally provided
buffer solutions of 4, 7 and 10 pH.
The
Digital Tester has three useful measurements
(conductivity, temperature, and pH) that help
determine the cost effectiveness of the recirculating
water treatment systems. Applications include
the quick determination of dissolved solids
and pH in cooling tower and boiler water systems,
the detection of carry-over in steam condesate
lines and the monitoring of ground water systems.
